The origin story

How MuVS finally started moving.

This is the story behind the first event, from delay and uncertainty to a real launch with real finishers.

Run With Friends 10K was originally supposed to happen on Friendship Day in 2024. But that plan changed when Bangladesh went through a historic and uncertain political moment. After the mass uprising and the fall of the government on August 5, the situation in the country made it difficult to move forward. The medals reached us only on August 9, and for a long time it felt like the event might never happen.

The medals stayed with us for months. Then, in February 2025, I had a bike accident and broke my leg. I spent around one and a half months at home. During that pause, I completed the Design Thinking and Global Startup course from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, KAIST. That course gave me a clear practical understanding of MVP.

That was the turning point. The medals were already with us. The website had already existed since March 2023. So the question became simple: why are we not testing MuVS properly?

On March 8, 2025, Women's Day, the MuVS Facebook page was opened. On April 14, 2025, Run With Friends 10K launched. Within 4-6 days, every slot was full. Within 15 days, medals reached participants. The feedback was strong, emotional, and real. That first event became the beginning of the MuVS journey.

The first chapter

This was the start of MuVS.

Run With Friends 10K showed that MuVS could turn motion into memory. It started with stored medals, a painful pause, and one MVP decision. It ended with finishers, feedback, and the confidence to build something bigger.
